I will never be able to serve on the Supreme Court

or any other position, either elected or appointed, in which public perception and opinion is an important factor. Why you ask? I make the following true statement, "I, H. Ernest Chen, was a willing patron of Hooters. To add insult to injury, the only Hooters establishment within the city of San Francisco is at Fisherman's Wharf.

The reason is that the boosters of the University of Florida Gators have arranged to have the Gator games brought in and shown at the Hooters of San Francisco. After coming off three mediocre years under coach Ron Zook, the game this past Saturday was the debut of the Gators new coach (and greatly heralded) Urban Meyer. The Gators, after a rather stiff looking first quarter, took control of the game in the second quarter and rolled to a 32-14 victory of Wyoming. A detailed description and analysis can be found at Gatorcountry.com.

And guess who is going to Gainesville, FL in two short weeks to witness Urban Meyer's SEC home opener against Tennessee? I'll give you two guesses......
