Ok, as I was brushing my teeth, I remembered that I had a couple firsts this week and today. This past weekend was the first time I put in my contacts since the accident. Why it took me so long, I have no idea. No longer do I have to always worry about the schmutz on my glasses that seems to accumulate so quickly. Also today, the first time I have had a McDonalds Big Mac since the accident. Here at home, I am eating at the mercy of whatever is put on the table. I like Chinese food and have been eating well. But today, I just needed to eat fast food so on the way home, I asked Mom to go through the drive through. I don't think anything has tasted so good in a while......
