| On a hot Thursday when I had a day off from Chinese class (my student classmates were off at some big meeting of high ranking officials) I took a trip to the 798 Arts District. |

| The entire factory area was called "Joint Factory 718" but the famous buildings are these which were the 798 factory buildings. |

| The buildings are known for these half arch ceilings and the north famous windows. |

| The other buildings have been turned into galleries and it's a nice place to walk....NO CARS! |

| I actually spent most of my time looking at the buildings. Next time, I'll go back and look at the actual art. |

| One of my favorite things around the district was this elevated walkway where you can get a birds-eye view of the district. |
